Civil Courts and Other Methods of Dispute Resolution

Civil courts hear cases involving civil law. This means that they deal with disputes between individuals, or an individual and a business or between two businesses. The main civil courts are the County Court and the High Court. The Magistrates' Court also has jurisdiction to hear some civil cases, mainly involving family proceedings.
