AQA Unit 2B Tort

Tort law is a branch of the law which covers civil wrongs, such as negligence, defamation, trespass, occupiers liability, deceit, breach of statutory duty, Rylands v Fletcher (the rule in) and nuisance. Under tort law, if someone suffers a physical, legal, or economic harm, he or she may be entitled to claim compensation from the person who committed it.
